Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I complete the certificate at my own pace?

Yes. The certificate is fully asynchronous. You can work through it on your own schedule unless your school or district has established a specific completion window for your cohort.

Do I need prior experience with AI?

No. The certificate assumes no technical background or prior AI expertise. The focus is on practical professional judgment rather than technical proficiency.

How long does the certificate take?

AI Judgment & Practice for K–12 Educators represents 12 contact hours of professional learning. Individual completion time may vary.

Do I need a paid AI account?

No paid AI subscription is required to complete the certificate. When an activity involves AI, a course-provided example or alternative pathway should be available when needed.

Can I complete the certificate on my phone?

Some course content may work on a mobile device, but we strongly recommend using a laptop or desktop computer for the full learning experience.

When will I receive my UNH certificate and CEUs?

After you successfully complete all requirements, LessonDesk Learning prepares your completion information for submission to UNH Professional Development & Training. Yes. Team, school, and district enrollment options are available, including support for cohort enrollment and organizational purchasing.

What happens after I complete the certificate?

After you successfully complete all certificate requirements, LessonDesk Learning verifies your completion and submits the required completion information to UNH Professional Development & Training.

Eligible participants receive 1.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), representing 12 contact hours, and a Certificate of Completion from UNH Professional Development & Training.

Your official UNH completion record may not update immediately after you finish the online course. Final processing time and the appropriate UNH contact for urgent credential or record questions will be published here once confirmed with UNH Professional Development & Training.
